Our procedure for reducing wrinkles involves the use of small amounts of Botulinum Toxin, which is injected into specific muscles using a fine needle.

 

This technique helps to smooth out lines and wrinkles by temporarily immobilizing the muscles responsible for their formation. By preventing muscle contractions that lead to tugging at the skin creating creases, it naturally softens dynamic lines and wrinkles. Botox®, Vistabel®, Dysport®, Azzalure® all brand names for the anti-wrinkle treatment we tend to call 'Botox®'. They all contain the neurotoxin, botulinum toxin, produced by the bacterium Clostridium botulinum. There are other brands available, but not all have been licensed for use in the UK. By relaxing certain muscles of the face, we can reduce the appearance of dynamic lines and wrinkles on the upper face and neck, crow’s feet as well as slim the jawline and treating excessive sweating.
